An Architect & Valley resident for over 15 years, John moved from Chicago to seek his masters in Architecture from Arizona State & joined CCBG in 2007. He had the pleasure to serve on several City of Phoenix planning boards since 2007 & chaired the Central City planning committee in 2011 & 2012. During his tenure, the City rolled out its first foray into form-based zoning; the Downtown Code & John was heavily involved in several text amendments & planning processes. After years of lobbying, in 2013, the City Council adopted a new zoning that would facilitate townhouse development for infill sites in Phoenix. John is particularly interested in creating a dynamic and rich textural urban environment. John is currently a registered Architect in Arizona, holds an NCARB certification and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
