I write this quarters President’s letter as I prepare to exit this operational year and make way for our new President, Byron Bargas. Byron comes to the table with extensive experience at the general contracting level as well as work on several large commercial projects here in Arizona. Byron is an effective leader, and we welcome him to the CSI
leadership helm.

I hope everyone is off to a strong start to the new year. I know you all were as happy as I was to watch the ball drop on New Year’s Eve and put another challenging year to bed. All while visualizing the hopes of a “return to normalcy” as we welcomed 2022. CDC indicators conclude we should reach goal by the 4th quarter of the year. YAY!!!

As we wind down the final weeks of the year, I wanted to reflect on how fast this year has progressed. In Arizona, we are blessed with a strong economic environment as well as one of the healthiest construction markets in our State’s history. This strong building cycle kept us all very busy and the runway set for 2022 looks to keep pace with another strong year of construction activity.

We start this exciting operational year with a new sense of optimism coming out of the National pandemic that plagued us all over the past year and half. We have experienced a new “way” of conducting business and forced to adapt to an increase of virtual networking. To quote a cliché that is used more than most of us care to acknowledge, a “new normal” of looking at how to move forward from here is top of mind for most of our team members as we get closer to ending the fiscal year and starting a new.
