We are finalizing our “Ask The Architect” event planned for March 2020:
Panel will consist of 3 architects willing to participate in answering questions on how architects prefer to interact with vendors.
Event will take place 30 minutes prior to the March 2020 monthly lunch meeting.

Roar!! By Katie Perry – We started of the November meeting watching a YouTube clip of Katie Perry at the 2015 Superbowl here in Phoenix!! Stephen A. Dudley, CBO is the Building Official for the City of Glendale. In this position, he oversees the daily activities of the Building Safety Division, including plan review, building inspections, the development services center and cross-connection control. He has been employed at the City of Glendale since 1997, working in various positions in the Building Safety Division.

Just in case you missed September 22nds CSI Meeting I’ll fill you in on some of the highlights!!
In memory of one of our CSI family architects, Wayne Earl Shirlaw, CSI, CDT, AIA passed in August and we offered a moment of silence in his memory.
Ed Galindo received our chapter Outstanding Chapter Commendation award in Austin at the 2016 Construct convention. This gave us the silver status and we are now on our way to GOLD!!! Not to mention 2017 will be our chapters 60th anniversary and we are looking for suggestions on how to promote and celebrate our members and success.
For those that attended, ‘Thank You.’ For those that could not, we hope to see you next year. This was our annual Chapter Celebration. We focused on our new members; acknowledging them through a slide presentation that recognized the new members on the month that they joined. The presentation was assembled from slides taken from each month’s Chapter presentation. We have been fortunate this year to have 24 new members! We were glad to see several of our new members at the meeting including our newest, new, member Skip Burnham and his wife.
With Earth Day occurring in April, the Program for our Chapter meeting was Sustainability.
Our Meeting began, as it does each month, by recognizing our members. William Pittenger and Dorothy Shupe are new members. Members with April anniversaries include Moroni Mejia, John Campbell, Jeffery Nielsen, Kathy Greenway, Ron Geren, Terry Vaughan, Robert Schill, Tim Garver, Ken Martinek, and Paul Simonsen.
The dates associated with the anniversaries, as reported by Institute, reminded us to update our membership profiles on file with Institute on a regular, or as needed, basis.
