Hello CSI Phoenix Chapter members!
As we wind down the final weeks of the year, I wanted to reflect on how fast this year has progressed. In Arizona, we are blessed with a strong economic environment as well as one of the healthiest construction markets in our State’s history. This strong building cycle kept us all very busy and the runway set for 2022 looks to keep pace with another strong year of construction activity.
This leads to my thoughts on how important it is to stay connected and engaged with your local CSI chapter. What other organizations can you join locally that aggressively connect its members to the trends, codes and construction management tools necessary in managing a complex project?......CSI is that unique entity and we should all be proud to be members. Let’s keep that in mind as we continue to keep focus on driving membership and engagement with our peers.
Currently, our Phoenix chapter operating budget has been approved and we are excited to offer additional network, education and scholarship opportunities than we ever have before. Allocation of resources to properly promote our chapter “value” is front and center as we navigate the remaining months left in this years CSI operating year. Keep your eyes open for the communications coming soon regarding the extra events we have planned.
Additional opportunities are still available for participating within our chapter by joining one of our active committees. Our social media/publicity, education and fund-raising committees are always looking for those with experience in helping guide the set plans for the year. This would be a great time to take the “leap of participation faith” and become an active member of one of our growing committees. Plus, we have a ton of fun as a team!
REMINDER……SAVE THE DATE – Thursday, April 7th marks the date for this year’s annual CSI golf event! Flyers will be cascaded to our community members shortly. We are actively seeking event sponsors! The annual golf event is our #1 fund raising opportunity for the year and we need your help to ensure the event is communicated to all those you encounter. We appreciate your help!
I wish you all a joyous holiday season! Soon, we will mentally “reset” and prepare for the fantastic year in store for us in 2022!
Happy Holidays!
